Mothers Day Bird Friendly Afternoon Picnic May 10th (Sunday) 1pm-3pm Holland Park, Surrey: 13428 Old Yale Rd, Surrey, BC V3T 3C7, Canada
Celebrate mothers day by learning about how birds take care of their babies and how they can help us become calmer, wiser humans. We will snack together in the afternoon, meet other families from NatureKidsBC community and members of the public. Come learn what you can do to help nature and gain tips for the best places to visit in Metro Vancouver. Bring your snacks, raincoats, and social spirit!

The Vancouver Avian Research Centre (VARC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bird conservation through research, education, and community engagement. VARC offers curriculum-based school programs, workshops, bird walks, and public events that help people of all ages connect with birds and the natural world.
*Meet us by the public toilets at (Search: “55M3+G4 Surrey, British Columbia, Canada”). The side of the park closer to KingGeorge Skytrain station. *Free street parking around. Parking lot at King George station. Excellent skytrain access and public transit hub.
