Join us at Burnaby’s favourite springtime celebration. Learn about local birds and plant life on one of our free walking tours. Explore the flora and fauna around Deer Lake then head to the festival lawn to enjoy entertainment, roving performers, eco-artist installations, an artisan market, family activities, plant sales, community groups, food trucks and more! FREE Tours: Youth Birding Walk at Deer Lake at 11:00-1:00 Seek and Discover Nature at 11:30-1:00 Bird Migration and Wetlands Tour at 1:00-2:00 and 2:30-3:30 Indigenous Photography Walking Tour: History of Deer Lake at 1:45-2:45 and 3:00-4:00 Medicinal Plant Tour of Deer Lake at 2:15-3:15 All tours will start at the event Information Tent.  Burnaby Blooms promotes the long-term sustainability and the ecological health of our community in a fun and creative environment. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for hours of fun at the City’s favourite spring festival.

Parking is available at Burnaby City Hall and Deer Lake Centre lots; parking in the vicinity is limited. For SPARC permit holders, there is limited parking at the Shadbolt surface parking lot. There is also a drop-off zone located across from the Burnaby Village Museum carousel entrance on Deer Lake Ave. Alternate transportation is recommended. Free onsite bike valet is available.
