Children ages 5 – 10 can join us just before Bird Week to celebrate birds, bats, and insects! Grab your binoculars and get ready to hone your observation skills. Discover some of the winged creatures that fly in, around, and above the Garden, including what they eat and where they sleep, before creating a craft that might just take flight.
Birds are a gateway to nature, inspiring connection to and appreciation of the world around us. During May, over 250 species of birds can be seen and enjoyed throughout the Lower Mainland. Join the celebration through interactive bird walks, online events and webinars. Events and activities welcome beginners and experts alike.
