Come Birding with Me as we explore birding and biodiversity on a free guided walk for the Filipino community.
Led by birder and photographer, Kris Cu, this walk will introduce you to the birds found around Stanley Park. See birds like Anna’s hummingbirds, northern flickers, and red-breasted nuthatches while meeting new people and sharing in the outdoors.
This program will meet at the Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon.
Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the program.
This program is a part of the Birding with Me series, collaboratively organized by the Canadian Wildlife Service and Stanley Park Ecology Society, and supported by Birds Canada.
About your Bird Guide
Kris Cu is a biological sciences graduate from SFU and is passionate about biodiversity conservation, sustainability and science communication. He grew up in the bustling city of Manila, Philippines where he was first introduced to birdwatching by his father. Upon moving to Canada, he carried over his love for birds and is grateful to be currently working for Birds Canada. Nowadays, he is often seen with a camera in the field as he attempts to capture images of the incredible wildlife and nature around him.
